SELF DESTRUCTION SEQUENCE INITIATED

Last night, in the first inning, the Cubs scored 4 runs. My feed went out and so I restarted the game, thought about fast forwarding to where it went out but then decided, hell, let's watch it again. Two homeruns, a double and then another homerun. It was as great the second time as it was the first.

In the second inning, the Reds scored a run, but in the third, we answered right back. My feed went out again (this was actually the fifth or sixth time it went out) and so I decided that it was time for bed and that I should just check out the scoreboard. I scrolled down, looking for the Cubs logo (certainly they won the game) but stumbled upon the Reds logo instead. I was confused. Did they split a double header? Nope. After dominating the first three innings, the Cubs had the same idea as me and decided to call it a night. For the next six innings they let the Reds score a run here and a run there until the Reds won the damn game.
