BIG DRINK OF WATER

Hey Erik,

Are you watching any video from Spring Training? MLB.com, so clear and usable during the regular season, is doing a fucked up job of making Spring Training video available. If you can find what you're looking for (what a disastrous UI), it's often only a fraction of the games played.

Anyway, I'm watching yesterday's game between the Cubs and Brewers. Tomo Ohka, fired dramatically by Frank Robinson last summer, is pitching for Milwaukee. Number 31 is pitching -- and looking fine at it -- for Chicago.

In the first, John Mabry smacked Ohka up real good, followed by Ramirez's second home run this spring. Three runs in the top of the first. Of course, the Cubs went on to win this one 11-5, but I don't know that yet because I'm only in the bottom of the 2nd.

I call this post "Big Drink of Water" because one of the broadcasters used that term to describe Cubs non-roster invitee (whatever that means) Michael Restovich. I thought it an odd, old-fashioned, noirish term, but it brought a big smile to my face.
