ALCS: GAME 3: CHICAGO @ LA: Who cares?

Maybe it's just me, but this series is boring me to tears. I mean talking-on-the-phone, making-dinner-while-it's-on, doing-laundry, grooming-my-dogs, planning-2006-vacations, clipping-my-nails, staring-at-the-fish-tank boring. Bore, bore, bore.

There's nothing to love, nothing to root for. It's soulless and empty, despite all the media hype and paraphernalia wrapped around it. Boring.

Watching last night's Astros/Cardinals game was more interesting than all three LA/Chicago games combined so far. What is it? My remoteness from the teams? The pace? I mean, these teams are good enough to make it this far, I expect some drama. Some expertise. Some brilliance. Sure, everybody's sharp and paying attention and earning their paychecks, but really, I'm ready for bed. Thanks, American League. You're better than Sominex.
