AND SO IT ENDS

The White Sox did it, they won the World Series by sweeping the Astros. I didn't watch the game: my ban of Fox sports and abhorrence of Joe Buck coming into play here. I also didn't listen to the game: given the hometown bias of radio baseball (which I am totally in favor of) who would I have listened to? No, instead I accepted that there were no "surrogate Cubs" to be found in this series, and stayed true to my team. I watched This Old Cub, the Ron Santo movie.
