THE DARK AGES

I was going to name this post "The Dark Ages" and blather on about spending a weekend without an internet connection and how I was reduced to deciphering box-scores in the San Antonio newspaper. Given the five game losing streak though, I'm feeling dark for other reasons. How do you lose five in a row with a starting rotation of Maddux, Prior, Zambrano and Wood? Sure, getting beat by an excellent team like the Nationals might happen (thanks Andrew, I loved the play-by-play) but to lose the games before and after as well? You've got to be joking me.
