TODAY'S CUBS GAME: 2 - 0

My man, the Angry Baby Giant™ Carlos Zambrano, worked the Brewers hard through eight shutout innings, allowing only 3 measly hits, with a sweet, tidy close by Ryan Dempster. In the top of the eighth, Corey Patterson and Neifi Perez united their Wonder Twin Powers to yield a kind of double play I've never seen before: an 8>4 double play. Corey Patterson flew from center field horizontally toward right to catch Brady Clark's long fly ball. He then snapped into a throwing position and hurled it to Itty Bitty Neifi Perez, who stretched out from 2nd like Reed Richards to catch the ball before Damian Miller, who was on first, had a chance to advance. It was pretty thrilling. Oh, yeah, and Lee got homer #23. Tee hee.
