2005 WORLD SERIES WINNERS
Woohoo! My team did it. They won the 2005 World Series! No, I'm not taking medication where delusional wish-fulfillment is a side-effect, and no, I didn't travel forward in time (after watching Primer, time travel doesn't seem like such a good idea; I'm not exactly sure why it's not a good idea, but the one thing that was clear: time travel = trouble), I just maybe, um, dropped a word.
Okay, coming clean now... it was the 2005 College World Series. But the winners, the UT Longhorns, are my team. Sure, I didn't actually go to, or watch, or listen to a single game until the World Series (and then only half of one game), but I did spend four years on that campus (okay, two-
and-a-half) and I do root for the football team (when Mac Brown isn't totally pissing me off). But next year, you just watch, I'm going to be all over those games.
All joking aside, the Longhorns had a great season, and I couldn't be happier to see them NCAA champions. Hook 'em horns!

Primer's physics are made clear here and here. Um, I think.

Also, congratulations. Is there a way to watch any of that on the internet? I'd love to watch not only college world series, but AAA league contests. I sometimes yearn for smaller, purer baseball.
