TODAY'S NATIONALS GAME: 9-3

Wowie zowie! Nationals sluggishly ramped up to do what they do best...get warm in the middle of the game and take no prisoners thereafter. They gave Seattle no chance to play ball once they broke a 3-3 tie by scoring 6 runs in the bottom of the 8th.

Best part of the game was Junior Spivey showing up for his debut with D.C., after being traded from Milwaukee this morning and driving to the east coast. He showed up pinch-running in the 7th and ended up scoring on a Marlon Byrd single. Welcome to Washington, Junior!

8 straight wins, including two 3-game sweeps. Schwing!
