THRILLAS (NOT IN) MANILLA

Don King and his almighty hair couldn't have billed more interesting matchups than those we've seen over the last few days between the Cubs and Marlins and the Nationals and Angels.

Last night, I was ecstatic as Chicago returned the Humiliation Hat™ to Florida by sweetly punishing them 14-0. Little did I expect that today, just waiting for a chink in Cubs' pitching armor, those rat bastards from Florida would not only hurl the hat back, but bitch slap Chicago with it. 15-5. Ugh, that's almost too painful to type.

On a higher, but equally dramatic note, the possibility of cheating by an Angels pitcher caused Frank Robinson to ask for ump intervention, which caused Mike Scioscia to get all uppity, which, rather quickly, caused both dugouts to empty onto the field. Luckily, no fights broke out, no one was hurt, and the cheating sneak of a pitcher was ejected from the game. The Nationals were down 1 when this happened but ended up winning the game 6-3. The Angels got all their runs before the pitching incident, while the Nationals got 5 of theirs after it. Ha ha, Angels suck! (Oooops, better watch my mouth, there's one game left in this split series...which will no doubt be contentious. I hope the Nationals keep their cool and send the Angels packing back to their foolish little city in southern California.)
