SYNCHRONICITY

Tonight, while working, I watched two Sunday games with a bit of strange synchronicity to them. To wit:

• The Cubs took only the final game of their 3-game series with the White Sox.
• The Nationals took only the final game of their 3-game series with the Blue Jays.

• Cubs starter Mark Prior allowed 3 runs on 6 hits in 9 innings.
• Nationals starter Tomo Ohka allowed 2 runs on 5 hits in 8 innings.

• Henry Blanco homered for the Cubs.
• Tony Blanco homered for the Nationals.
