SOMEBODY PINCH ME

I'm pretty sure I slipped into an alternate reality this afternoon when I discovered that not only did the Giants beat the St. Louis Cardinals—yeah, those St. Louis Cardinals—but they shut out their venerable opponents. To make the hallucination complete, Giants pitcher Brad Hennessey, who just returned from a demotion stint in AAA, got the win. Final score: 2-0.

Frankly, I think somebody is playing a practical joke on me—I'll wake up tomorrow to discover that the Cardinals won 15-0 or something more realistic like that.
