BS

Well, I learned a new baseball acronym today. BS. Stands for Blown Save. I won't make a huge, apoplectic row over the Giants' avoidable loss to the Dodgers today, since they've taken 2 of 4 games, and could still take the series tomorrow. But my main blonde man Tyler Walker, walking the Substitute Closer walk in Armando Benitez's absence, lost one for the Gipper, or whatever Ronald Reagan and his chimpanzee used to say.

I flamed the radio for about a minute with all kinds of expletives, and then got over it. Cubs lost, didn't even watch that one. Atlanta won (boo!), putting them neat and tight with the Nationals. Washington leads 3-2 top of the 6th in their game with the Brewers, who have handily beaten them the last 2 of 4 total games this series.

Hopefully, one of my teams will win today. Somebody—work with me.
