AN AFTERNOON AT MAYS FIELD
I had the joy of attending today's Cardinals@Giants game. Barry Bonds did not play. Albert Pujols did not hit a home run. The Giants did not win.
I sat above left field, Club Level, directly in the path of a strong, still sun. It was the kind of beautiful afternoon that inspires an urge for deep sleep in a cot under a couple of trees. I'm so tired, in fact, that I'm just going to put up some photos.
